Lucas DeBard
“I’ll Take Romance”

A vocalist and drummer, Lucas is currently pursuing a degree in vocal performance with an outside field in musical theatre at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music. He was the winner of the Songbook Academy Great American Songbook Youth Ambassador Award in 2015. Since then, he has had the opportunity to perform at the Kennedy Center, Palladium in Carmel, Indiana, Sunnylands in Palm Springs, NJPAC, Feinstein’s 54 Below, Colburn School, Birdland Jazz and even sang the national anthem at an Indianapolis Colts game at Lucas Oil Stadium. He has performed alongside Michael Feinstein, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Ana Gasteyer, Marilyn Maye and Maddie Baillio. Lucas’s passion is singing and teaching the Great American Songbook repertoire. He also has been a worship leader for Chi Alpha Student Ministries, Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Bloomington, Indiana, Lebanon First Baptist Church, Lebanon Christian Church and Hanging Rock camp.
